Will Rogers Medallion Award Finalist and Peacemaker Winner

Last week I found out that Escape to Fort Abercrombieis a finalist in the Will Rogers Medallion Awards and also received the Peacemaker Award from the Western Fictioneers. I feel so blessed to be in the company of so many great writers. This photo is from a 2018 visit to Fort Abercrombie historical site in Abercrombie, North Dakota. I’ll be there again the first weekend in August of this year. Stop by for my presentation on Sunday, August 4, at 2pm.

I’m perusing airline fares to Fort Worth–the award ceremony for the Will Rogers Medallion Award is in October, where they will announce the winner. Wish me luck!
