This past week I visited 9th and 10th graders at Pillager High School. They had just finished reading ABERCROMBIE TRAIL and were enthusiastic with their questions and responses. If you’ve heard my presentations, you know that I started writing historical fiction set in Minnesota so that readers would learn more about their history. I like the idea of wrapping history in a good story so that when the book is finished, the reader has learned something. It seems to be working! Thanks Pillager High School for choosing my book for your classes, and for inviting me once again to speak to students on the last day before vacation. The goodies were excellent!
