Finding My Tribe

Writing is a solitary endeavor. It helps to network with other writers from time to time. Last week I hosted a tea party for local writers. The guests were limited to the number I could seat around my dining room table. Sue Ready, a blogger and book reviewer, hosted with me. My job was to invite other writers, lay a beautiful table, and act as hostess. Sue provided the delicious and beautiful food. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Connections were made, enthusiasm shared and many left with a sense of recommitment to their writing projects.
