Common Ground and Mary Hanson Show

It’s scary to be in front of a TV camera!

Last summer I spent time with the good people from Common Ground.  If you’ve watched their program, you know they highlight different artists in Northern Minnesota.  The good news is that my segment will air on Thursday night, March 22, at 7pm.  The program is repeated on Tuesday, March 27, at 7pm.  I hope you take time to watch.

March is my month for media interviews.  Mary Hanson, from THE MARY HANSON SHOW, interviewed me earlier this week for her syndicated public television program.  I’m not sure when she will air my interview but it will be coming up soon.

Why these interviews?  2012 marks the 150th anniversary of the 1862 Sioux Uprising and there is an increased interest in this tragic portion of Minnesota history.   If you are intersted in learning more about the Sioux Uprising, you might check the reference pages in the backs of my books.  Many wonderful non-fiction books have been written about this little known segment of our history.

Watch for the Common Ground program on March 22.  I’ll let you know when Mary Hanson airs my interview.
