What a great year 2017 has been for me. The completion and release of Dear Homefolks, the wonderful readers I have met across the Upper Midwest, the Western Writers of America Convention in Kansas City, an inspiring writing retreat or two at Annunciation Monastery, a fantastic week of learning with Sheila O’Connor, working on my new novel, the Minot Hostfest, time with family and friends and the successful grant application to Five Wings Art Council. Whew! No wonder I’m tired. This week I’ve been reviewing final cover text for my new book coming out in February: Escape to Fort Abercrombie published by Five Star Cengage, a part of the Thorndike Conglomeration. The advanced reader copies look great and a box of 1,000 bookmarks arrived in the mail. Today I heard the good news that Book List gave it a great review, an added blessing these final days of the year.
With all the people enduring fires, floods, famine and hurricanes, I do not take my blessings lightly. No one knows what tomorrow holds. Thank you to all of you who made this year extra enjoyable. I am truly grateful. Merry Christmas and a Blessed 2018.

Candace, I’m looking forward to your new book in February. It was a pleasure to meet you in Dalton last summer. I bought a stack of your books even though I had read The first 4. I’ve have been lending them out & I sent the 2 newer ones to AZ! Stay warm & happy writing in 2018!
thanks, Sheri! I’m glad you enjoy my work. Stay warm!
