The books are packed, the house sitter arranged, got my flu shot early and now I am packing for our annual jaunt to the Minot Hostfest. It’s one of my favorite events of the year, and if I’m counting right, it’s my 8th time of having a book table at this huge Scandinavian festival. My book table must be manned 11 hours a day for four straight days. Yes, exhausting! But wonderful. We always stay with a lovely woman who graciously opens her home to us. This year I’m scheduled to speak at the Author Corner daily at 3pm. Please stop by if you’re at the Hostfest this year! It’s always great to reconnect with friends from the different Scandinavian events I attend. I especially like reconnecting with family members. I’ll be bringing my new book, DEAR HOMEFOLKS.
