You just never know who might walk by at the Minot Hostfest. It mimght be a seven foot troll, a Viking warrior or Norwegians wearing their traditional bunads. 
This largest of US Scandinavian festivals starts next Tuesday night and lasts through Saturday at the State Fair Grounds. The weather forecast looks wonderful, and people from all over the world will gather to celebrate their Scandinavian heritage.
Look for me in the book room. This year authors will give daily presentations—I’m scheduled for 2pm. Please stop by and hear me read from FARM GIRLS and share my research and writing about THE ABERCROMBIE TRAIL SERIES.

I loved my trip to Minot Hoostfest last year. Unfortunately I am unable to attend this year.
Sure missed you this year at Minot. I was so excited when I heard you were coming again. Great time there and good sales for the book store. Hope you make it next year.
