Last night was a wonderful celebration to launch BIRDIE into the world. It’s been a long time coming–I first started writing BIRDIE in 2005. Of course, I’ve revised and rewritten more times than I like to remember, but I am gratified to hold the final product in my hand and see the fruits of my labors.
Like all new moms, I’ve counted the fingers and toes, looked the new baby over, and am happy to say that it’s looking good. Check out BIRDIE at your local book store. I’m excited to know what you think about it.
Rainy Day Books Nisswa hosted the party. THANK YOU RAINY DAY BOOKS! How nice of them to support a local author. Murzik, including my son, Nathan Simar, on the accordion, provided music. Bar Harbor Supper Club provided the beautiful location and excellent hors d’oeuvres for the event. Many friends, co-workers, relatives and readers from the area joined to welcome BIRDIE.
Thanks to everyone who showed up or sent well wishes. I hope you enjoy BIRDIE.
